Hi Lisa - thank you! Of course - I'd love it if you linked to my post in your article. Brown rice syrup is awesome! I have another version of the Brown Rice Squares here on the blog and, more recently, I posted a recipe for Seed & Nut Bars which also use brown rice syrup that you may like :)

Hi Shellyfish - quinoa cereal is a great idea, I never thought of that - I love quinoa. I was thinking of trying a different nut butter too - I have some cashew butter and macademia nut butter in the cupboard just begging to be used. I love your idea of adding some spices to the mix - I love spices, especially nutmeg. My husband came home yesterday looking for more squares already - have to get some more cereal :)

I love crispy squares! I literally have to keep crispy rice (or quinoa) cereals out of the house because I can't help myself from making them! I like to add cinnamon and nutmeg & allspice, too, and vanilla or almond extract. I also like to use hazlenut or almond butter sometimes- yum!
